Outreach and Short Term Support Services are a vital resource for those who are not connected to any other mental health supports; services are available on a temporary basis (the average is four to six months).
Individuals who are marginalized and homeless often utilize our outreach services and have many complex needs including support for serious mental health issues or homelessness/unstable housing.
In partnership with Dunara Homes for Recovery Inc. (Dunara), services are provided to almost 400 individuals annually in Waterloo Region and Guelph. Services include assistance related to referrals for housing or living arrangements, mental health symptoms, medication management, supportive counselling for finances and relationships, activities of daily living, and substance abuse (treatment planning).
People in Motion is a program offered through Outreach and Short Term Support Services.
